I’ll spend a quarter shadowing your team during live interviews to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement. After that, I’ll provide targeted coaching and performance management strategies to help your interviewers build confidence, maintain consistency, uphold high standards, and make better hiring decisions.
Interviewer Shadowing: I’ll observe your interviewers in action during live interviews, taking note of their approach, questioning techniques, and overall effectiveness. This real-time observation helps identify what’s working well and where improvements can be made
Personalized Coaching Sessions: Based on the insights gathered from the shadowing sessions, I’ll provide tailored coaching for each interviewer. These sessions will focus on refining questioning techniques, improving candidate engagement, and ensuring that interviewers are effectively assessing key competencies.
Performance Management Strategies: To sustain and build on the improvements, I’ll collaborate with your team to develop performance management strategies that reinforce best practices and tackle ongoing challenges. This includes establishing clear metrics for interviewer success, setting up regular feedback loops, and ensuring alignment with your quality hiring standards.
Initial Consultation: We’ll kick off with a 75-minute consultation to understand your hiring goals, the roles you’re filling, and the current challenges your interviewers face. We’ll also discuss any specific concerns you have about your team’s performance.
Request for Resources: After the initial consultation, I’ll request relevant documentation, such as current interview guides, job descriptions, and any existing feedback or performance metrics related to your interviewers. This context helps me tailor the shadowing and coaching to your specific needs.
Shadowing Sessions: Throughout the quarter, I’ll join your live interviewers remotely to observe your interviewers in action. I’ll take detailed notes on their approach, communication style, and effectiveness in assessing candidates. Each interviewer will be shadowed 2-3 times during the quarter to track progress and identify areas for growth.
Coaching Sessions: Following the shadowing sessions, I’ll schedule one-on-one coaching meetings with each interviewer. These sessions will be focused on specific areas of improvement identified during shadowing and will include practical advice and exercises to enhance their performance.
Performance Management Planning: In collaboration with your HR or leadership team, I’ll develop a performance management plan that includes ongoing metrics, regular feedback loops, and resources to ensure continuous improvement.
Final Debrief & Resources: At the end of our engagement, I’ll provide a detailed debrief document summarizing the key insights, coaching recommendations, and performance management strategies. You’ll also receive custom interview resources designed to support your team going forward.
